Cone 6 Black Ice porcelain (food Safe when fired to cone 6), Pink frost glaze.

Monologue: I begin as a quiet, matte-black vessel—elegant in restraint, humble in intention. The maker’s hand lingers in my organic contours, where function and form meet with ease. I am thin to the eye, light in the hand, yet assured in my strength.
My upper half is dipped in a thick, pale pink glaze, molten in appearance and softened at the rim for use. I hold the illusion of liquidity, a surface in flux, yet fixed by fire. Within that tension, I fulfill my purpose: not only to be seen, but to be held in the quiet rituals of daily life.
