The Colour Monologues: Violet

Monologue:

I am Violet.

I am drift.

I need open space. I need to breathe.

When things get too tight,
too quiet in the wrong way,
I start to disappear.

That’s my fear.

Being contained.
Closed in.
Not being able to open fully into myself.

I feel everything. Softly… completely.
It moves through me like air,
always drifting.

Sometimes I am wistful.
Sometimes I open too much.

I would rather feel everything
than nothing at all.
I stay open and soft.
even when it is a lot.

I trust my intuition, what I feel.
