Monologue:Shh- I have a secret, don’t tell anyone. At night when everything is quiet, I gently taste the books. I’m too shy to do it during the day. I always visit each of my favourites. Their contents make me warm with vibrant colour. Sometimes it’s boredom (grey). Sometimes it’s delight (lime green). Sometimes it’s sadness (forest green). And when I lend my books to you, my darling, you’re carrying a part of me. Be very careful. Dog eared pages are bites that aren’t yours to take. Never forget: My world goes grey when the sun is out and my tentacles have claws.
